The Master of Business Administration with Information Technology (MBA with IT)
embodies the view that well trained manpower in the managerial careers in the public and private sectors of economy is critical for effective utilization of human resources and other resources for the posterity of the universe.
Rationale of the Programme
Statistics have shown that most of the graduates of Master of Business Administration lack the basic skills and knowledge in Information technology and are not versatile on the job. Most of these graduates hire the services of IT experts in the management of their information systems. This programme therefore will make the graduate all rounded and adaptable on the job. Customer survey carried by the School of Business and Economics indicated that 70% graduates of MBA were not cognizant of network and communication systems, operating systems, web programming and electronic commerce technologies.
